How To Make Spicy Paloma Cocktail
This spicy paloma is made with grapefruit, boozy tequila, and serrano for a light, yet mouth numbing cocktail fit for Friday night parties!
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1ozlime juice,fresh, about 1 lime
- ½tsplight agave nectar,or simple syrup
- 1serrano,thinly sliced into ⅛-inch to ¼-inch wide rounds
- 2ozgrapefruit juice,fresh, less than 1 grapefruit
- 2ozsilver tequila,or blanco
- 1½ozgrapefruit club soda,or plain club soda
- grapefruit wedges,to garnish
For Salt Rim:
- 2tspkosher salt,or sea salt
- lime wedge,to line the rim
Instructions
Salt Rim:

Pour the sea salt onto a small plate. Run a lime wedge around the rim of the glass, then roll the edge of the glass onto the salt.

Fill the prepared glass with ice. Set aside.
Cocktail:

In a cocktail shaker or mason jar, muddle together the lime juice, agave nectar, a slice of Serrano pepper. Fill the shaker with ice, then pour in the grapefruit juice and tequila.

Put the lid on the shaker or jar, then shake until the mixture is thoroughly chilled.

Pour the blend into the prepared glass, then top off the cocktail with the club soda.

Garnish with a small wedge of grapefruit, serve, and enjoy!
