How To Make Pesto & Tomato Pasta with Crispy Crumbs

Ingredients
- 8 ounces of pasta
- 1 cup of fresh basil leaves
- 1/4 cup of pine nuts
- 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup of cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup of bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons of butter
Instructions

Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a food processor, combine the basil, pine nuts, Parmesan cheese, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy.

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the bread crumbs and cook until golden brown and crispy.

Add the cherry tomatoes to the skillet and sauté for 2-3 minutes, until they start to soften.

Add the pesto sauce to the skillet and stir until the tomatoes are coated.

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well combined and heated through.

Serve the pasta in bowls, topped with the crispy bread crumbs.
